Last weekend Zac and some of his buddies from school had their PineWood Derby race (see previous post!). The end of the day's festivities was the Blue & Gold Banquet. Our Den performed a skit and dressed as pillowcase people! It was a hit for sure!

Look Ma! No wheels!
Zac came home from a spring break camp and announced he wanted his training wheels off his bike.
So Kathy popped them off and after a few minutes he was riding up and down the street with the biggest smile on his face!
(Later I found out that if he had trouble he was planning on calling Nana since she got Danielle to ride without training wheels in 5 minutes!).

Zac had his Pine Wood Derby Race today and although he wasn't happy, I was very pleased! Last year, we always came in 2nd during the races. This year we ran several 1st places and ended up 4th overall (after a disappointing loss when we lost a run-off for 3rd place!).
Needless to say I was getting advice from the 1st place kid's dad! Zac's car is the one in middle with the camo skin!
New ride!
Got a new ride! I've been holding off for 3 years to get one and finally bit the bullet! The kiddos love it and so did Nana. (and for those of you wondering...yes, I did break it in listening to my favorite Crystal tune!).

Pat Benatar LIVE!
Kathy and I went to the Hard Rock Casino in Catoosa, OK to see Pat Benatar and her husband, Neil Giraldo! AWESOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMME!
Talk about rockin' the Joint (which by the way, was the name the theater she performed in!).
She sang all her hits and I had my "good" camera with me. So I was happy I got these of her and her husband! (Who Kathy was secretly drooling over!)
